Meet the Storyteller

About the Music
Alongside writing Critter Tales, I also create eh music you hear throughout this site. Each piece is written as part of the storytelling process-often inspired by a scene, a season, or the quiet feeling of being inside the story. The music is meant to feel gentle and companionable, like a soft presence rather than a performance.
Where animals speak softly, and childhood wonder still lives.
I write stories because I’ve always believed that small moments matter — the quiet kind that happen in the woods, in friendships, and in the spaces where imagination feels safe to wander. As a child, I was drawn to animals, hidden places, and the feeling that the world held gentle secrets just waiting to be noticed. Writing allows me to return to that sense of curiosity and kindness, and to share it with others through simple, heartfelt tales.
My stories are inspired by nature, childhood memories, and the animals who seem to understand far more than they let on. A rustling tree, a snowy path, or a timid woodland creature can spark an entire story in my mind. I love creating cozy worlds where characters learn about belonging, bravery, and compassion — often through small adventures and quiet discoveries rather than grand gestures.
These stories are written for children, families, and anyone who still carries a bit of childhood wonder with them. They are meant to be gentle, comforting, and full of warmth — the kind of stories that feel like a pause in a busy day. I hope they invite readers to slow down, notice the beauty around them, and remember the magic that lives in nature, animals, and the simple joy of imagining what might be just beyond the next tree.
