A Bite of the Story
Tiny Jackie was a gerbil with inquisitive eyes and a silly smile. He would often stretch and strain on his oversized back feet to stand very tall.
He did not do this to be funny, but to gawk and gaze at the fascinating creatures that lived all around him. Jackie lived an exciting life at the Shawshween River Gerbil Shelter, a life filled with days of exploration, tunnel digging, and running on his wheel.
